Cayenne was born in Pittsburgh, PA and ever since childhood has had a passionate desire to utilize his gift to sing and "bless" those around him. He was educated in the Pittsburgh School System and upon graduation faithfully served in the United States Army. Cayenne has been married to his wife Jill for over 23 years and they are parents to four beautiful children. He he has been employed by The Port Authority of Allegheny County since 1994, where he continues to serve both the Lord and his community.

Cayenne was raised in a Christian home and his desire to "serve the Lord" has been the top priority in his life. This desire is reflected in many avenues and is most clearly evident with those on his job, where he recognized the need to start a prayer and exhortation ministry with his fellow employees. He quickly assembled a few other Christians at the Port Authority where they have daily prayer and fellowship. This action is a testament to Cayenne's desire to allow the Lord to continue to use him to "serve" those around him.

In reference to his music ministry, Cayenne has received formal vocal training from both renowned opera singer Demeris Cooper and Vocal Trainer Roland Wyatt, who has worked with the group "Manhattan Transfer." In addition, Cayenne has displayed his versatility where he appeared in the Sam Hazo's stage play "Feather" alongside Maggie Steward of Mister Roger's Neighborhood.

The formal vocal training Cayenne received has blessed numerous individuals throughout his career. Initially, he ministered in song as lead vocalist at the New Light Temple Baptist Church with the "Jubilee Choir" for 15 years under the direction of Music Minister Irv Brentley. From there and in answer to prayer, the Lord guided him to North Park Church under the stewardship of Pastor Bob Hopper. Because of Cayenne's love for music and his desire to continue to serve the Lord, he immediately joined the choir, under the leadership of Dr. Bill Cummings who also became his mentor. Dr. Cummings observed the burning desire of music in Cayenne's heart and quickly promoted him to one of the principle lead vocalists in the choir.

During his service at North Park Church Cayenne was provided various opportunities to minister in song, and in June 2005 along with the church choir received an invitation to perform internationally in Paris, France on an eight day music mission trip. He along with the choir ministered in various venues and performed in audiences of over 10,000 people. Cayenne along with the choir were the first "American" church choir to sing at the "Altitude 95" restaurant located in the Eiffel Tower and were invited back to participate in future ministry opportunities. God continued to utilize Cayenne's service along with Dr. Bill Cummings when they were asked to minister in song at Pittsburgh's famed Heinz Hall in September 2005.

God has provided Cayenne with a multitude of ministry experience in song and he is currently working on completing his first inspirational CD titled "In The Hallway", which will be available in the fall of 2006.
